Prohibitory orders under Section 163 of BNSS continue to remain imposed in Bhalessa, Doda after protests erupted over AAP MLA Mehraj Malik’s detention under the Public Safety Act (PSA). After yesterday’s 2-hour relaxation that allowed the general public to purchase essential commodities, markets were once again shut today, with all business establishments remaining closed. DIG DKR stated that the situation is gradually returning to normal and assured that the administration is in constant touch with the people.
