Congratulations are in order as Cardi B is expecting her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs. This will be her fourth child, and the NFL star’s second. He already has an eight-year-old daughter named Nova. The rapper shares three children, Kulture, Wave and Blossom, with her estranged husband Offset. She confirmed the news of her pregnancy during an interview, revealing that she will be welcoming their child next year.
During her appearance on CBS Mornings on Wednesday, September 17, Cardi B shared, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.” The 32-year-old rapper mentioned that she will be giving birth to their baby right before she kicks off her Little Miss Drama tour in February 2026. “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space,” she told host Gayle King.
Cardi B Says Stefon Diggs Is “Supportive” Of Her
Cardi B continued, “I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.” The rapper, who confirmed her romance with Stefon Diggs through an Instagram post in June this year, also talked about her relationship with the NFL star. “Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” she said.
The I Like It rapper shared that they both are “really great and one of the best at what we do.” She highlighted that they think the same way, looking forward to what to work on next. “We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going at it and that’s just what we are,” she said.
Cardi B added that the 31-year-old NFL wide receiver for the New England Patriots makes her feel “safe” both emotionally and physically. “You see how big he is,” she joked, adding, “He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong.” She revealed that she was experiencing a panic attack due to the rollout of her new album and the harsh criticism from everyone. However, at that time, Stefon stood by her side as her pillar of strength.
FYI, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs were first linked together in October 2024. In May this year, the duo made their first public appearance together at a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Until June, the rapper had dodged relationship rumours and also avoided speculations about her fourth pregnancy as she wanted to reveal everything when she felt it was right.

In the same interview, she added, “Now that I talked about it, y’all better get my album. Y’all wanted to know, right? Now you know. Now y’all can buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told y’all, now go support my album ’cause I’m a mother of four now!”
Cardi B is all set to release her second album, titled Am I the Drama? The album, which will serve as the follow-up to her debut one, will be released by Atlantic Records on September 19.
