Emma Hayes Gets Honest About U.S. Soccer’s Upcoming $200 Million Training Facility Ahead of 2026 World Cup

“We are poised to elevate the sport to new heights and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come,” remarked US Soccer CEO JT Batson while unveiling the Arthur M. Blank US Soccer national training center. Quite an obvious thing to underline, considering a whopping $200 million has been spent on turning this complex into a reality. While both the players and fans would be eager to see the glimpses, looks like Emma Hayes already has a thing or two to share about the facility.
The US women’s national team manager recently got a chance to visit the upcoming training facility and get first-hand experience of what is installed for all 27 national teams of the United States across different sports. A video was shared by the US Soccer on X, where the former Chelsea boss spoke highly of the soon-to-be-unveiled training facility.
“Well, I just got the chance to see the grand tour of the NTC,” began Emma Hayes. “I’ve had a walk-around not just of the pitches but facilities. Everything from changing rooms to gym space to classrooms to indoor facility.”

“What an unbelievable experience it’s been today to see not just the progress of the build but, I mean, getting the tour around this incredible facility not just demonstrates the lengths US Soccer are going to create world-class training environments, but also accessibility and inclusivity for all of our partners, all of our teams, all of our stakeholders.”
“And I can imagine everything from futsal to youth soccer games to refereeing to coach education all under one roof. I think without question, this is the best facility in the world.”
