Each week during the season, the World will update its ranking of the top-10 metro high school football players. Rankings are based on performance this season, previous years’ accomplishments and potential. Below are the updated rankings with the players’ Week 2 position in parentheses:
1. KD Jones
Jenks, RB, Sr. (1)
After a bye week, will face 6AI No. 1 Bixby on Friday. For the season, has 537 rushing yards and 10 TDs in three games. Was an All-World offensive player of the year finalist in the past two seasons. In 2024, carried 229 times for 1,476 yards and 17 TD. Also caught 24 passes for 256 yards and four TDs. Counting his freshman season at Broken Arrow, has career totals of 4,490 rushing yards and 51 TDs with 95 catches for 1,190 yards and 10 TDs.
2. Semaj Stanford
Broken Arrow, DB/WR, Jr. (2)
After an open date, will face 6AI No. 3 Owasso on Friday. For the season, has 37 tackles and six catches for 124 yards and a TD. In 2024, had a team-high 102 tackles for Jenks and was an All-World first-team selection. Overall, he had 193 tackles and four takeaways in the past two seasons.
3. Cord Nolan
Bixby, LB/TE, Sr. (3)
Texas Tech commit taught three passes for 30 yards and a TD plus had two tackles in a 57-7 win over Choctaw. This season, has 10 tackles, five QB hurries, two TDs and two 2-point conversions. In 2024, he had 108 tackles, including 77 solos, with 17 for losses and five sacks. On offense, he had 35 catches for 522 yards with five TDs. In 2023, he caught 23 passes for 632 yards and 10 TDs. Caught a TD pass as a freshman in the ‘22 state final.
4. Xavier ‘Zizi’ Okwufulueze
Rejoice Christian, WR/DB, Sr. (4)
OU commit had six catches for 107 yards in the Class AI No. 1 Eagles’ 31-7 win at Christian Heritage. This season, has 18 catches for 358 yards and three TDs. In 2024, he was selected to the All-World first team after he caught 46 passes for 901 yards and nine TDs. On defense, he scored on two of his four interceptions for the defending state champion Eagles.
5. Carson Kirby
Bixby, QB, Sr. (5)
Completed 13-of-15 passes for 200 yards and four TDs against Choctaw. This season, he is 47-of-62 for 656 yards and eight TDs. During the past two seasons, Kirby completed 394-of-565 passes for 5,196 yards and 69 TDs while winning two state titles. Last year, he passed for 2,976 yards and 34 TDs.
6. Kailib Dillard
Jenks, DB/WR, Jr. (6)
After a bye week, the 6AI No. 2 Trojans host Bixby on Friday. This season, has 19 catches for 317 yards and four TDs. Also has 16 tackles and an interception. Last year, had 68 tackles with seven pass breakups in his first season with Jenks after helping Lincoln Christian win a 3A title in 2023. Won All-World preseason readers voting as the area’s top defensive back. Has 14 major college offers.
7. Easton Webb
Sand Springs, QB, Sr. (8)
Completed 22-of-29 passes for 232 yards and a TDs in a 35-0 win over Bishop Kelley. Also had 11 carries for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Set the Sandites’ career passing yards record with 6,633 and has 64 TDs as he has connected on 475-of-771 attempts. In 2024, he passed for 3,502 yards and 41 TDs as the Sandites made it to the 6AII semifinals. Also is one of the state’s top baseball pitchers.
8. Braeden Presley
Bixby, WR/DB, Sr. (7)
Caught two passes for 20 yards, had two tackles and a 24-yard punt return against Choctaw. In three games, has seven catches for 168 yards and two TDs, a 43-yard run, seven tackles and two pass breakups. Last year, had 33 solo tackles and four interceptions. In limited time on offense, he had 25 catches for 356 yards plus 14 rushes for 245 yards with six TDs.
9. Drew Frankenfield
Owasso, QB, Jr. (9)
After an open date, the Rams will visit Broken Arrow on Friday. This season, is 41-of-80 for 523 yards and five TDs. In 2024, he completed 178-of-232 passes (77%) for 2,671 yards and 35 TDs with only six interceptions as the Rams went 12-0 before losing to Bixby on the state title game’s final play.
10. Scott Rigby
Collinsville, RB/LB, Sr. (NR)
Enters the rankings for the first time in 2025. Had 21 rushes for 229 yards and three TDs plus six tackles in a 47-27 win over Bartlesville as the Cardinals improved to 3-0. For the season, has 44 carries for 498 yards and eight TDs plus two catches for 16 yards. On defense, has 10 tackles in limited action. In 2024, had 192 rushes for 1,549 yards and 29 total TDs, and 36 tackles. Career totals of 3,229 rushing yards and 48 TDs plus 142 tackles.
