Lauren Conrad can’t help but tease the upcoming Laguna Beach reunion.
“Let’s go back to the beginning…” Conrad wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, September 24. “Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026.”
Alongside the message, Conrad shared a series of throwback photos, including one of her with castmates Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari, Morgan Smith, Christina Sinclair, Trey Phillips, Lo Bosworth and Talan Torriero.
Laguna Beach, which premiered in 2004, centered around the personal lives of high school students. After airing for three seasons, Conrad (and later Cavallari) went on to appear in The Hills from 2006 to 2010.
Now, the cast is set to appear in the two-hour special Roku Presents: The Laguna Beach Reunion — which debuts on The Roku Channel in 2026.
“When I first pitched the show to my bosses at MTV, never in a million years did I think we would find such a perfect group of real friends. The show not only changed my life and the cast’s lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who’ve been waiting for this,” creator Liz Gateley said, per Variety. “To partner with Roku to reunite the cast and produce this special with Lauren, Stephen and Kristin as executive producers 20 years later is a dream.”
Lucilla D’Agostino, Barry Poznick are set to executive produce the special with Bill Langworthy, who also serves as showrunner. Olivia LaRoche and Louisa Lenander Friedman are overseeing the special for Roku Originals.
“Laguna Beach wasn’t just a television series; it defined a generation of pop culture and paved the way for the reality genre as we know it,” Brian Tannenbaum, Head of Roku Originals, Roku Media, said. “Reuniting this cast two decades later is a dream, and we are delighted to give streamers a front-row seat to the nostalgia.”
Earlier this year, many of the cast members reunited for a live-taping of Cavallari’s “Let’s Be Honest” podcast as part of her The Headline Tour. In one photo, Cavallari was joined on stage by Torriero, Lala Olsen, Jason Wahler, Alex Murrel and Jess Revans.
“Chicago got wild!!!!” Cavallari captioned her post, before giving a shout-out to her former cast members and guest Harry Jowsey. “Love my OG Laguna crew and my fave @harryjowsey.”
Murrel went on to share a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her time via Instagram, writing, “I love Chicago 🫶🏼 so many laughs, talks, hugs and memories made! Thank you @kristincavallari for having us 🤍.”
