Popular TikTok influencer dies at 14

Zuza Beine, the 14-year-old influencer who documented her battle with cancer on TikTok and Instagram, has died.
Her family shared the news in a post across her social media accounts.
“Her being changed us forever, and her dying will too,” the post reads. “It is no coincidence to us that the last video she made captures what she was grateful for — a testament to a life filled with both beauty and suffering.”
“Being diagnosed with cancer has made me deeply grateful for the everyday that many people often take for granted,” Beine wrote in her final post before her death.
Beine lived 11 of her 14 years with acute myeloid leukemia, which she was diagnosed with when she was 3 years old, she said in a Sept. 1 video.
She gained a following on social media through her “Get Ready With Me” videos in which she candidly provided viewers with updates on her cancer journey while sharing skin care routines and lifestyle content.
Beine was also a member of the Glow House, a content creator group for young influencers.
The young creator’s social media accounts have been flooded with condolences since the announcement of her death.
“We will never forget her. I’m heartbroken. It’ll forever be my favorite memory singing along with her backstage,” commented singer-songwriter Noah Kahan on the post.
“No one deserves to go through this,” another user commented. “Zuza we love you so much. The sweetest soul ever and the nicest person you’ll ever meet.”
