'Law and Order' Adds David Ajala for Season 25

David Ajala has been cast in “Law and Order” Season 25 in a series regular role.
Ajala will play a detective alongside Det. Vincent Reilly (Reid Scott). Additional Season 25 cast members include Tony Goldwyn, Maura Tierney, Odelya Halevi, and Hugh Dancy.
Ajala is best known for playing Cleveland “Book” Booker on the Paramount+ series “Star Trek: Discovery,” joining the show in its third season and remaining with it through its fifth and final season. He is also known for his roles in shows like “Nightflyers,” “The Jetty,” “Falling Water,” and “Supergirl.” He also previously appeared in multiple episodes of ““Law & Order: UK.” His film credits include “The Dark Knight,” “The Fast & the Furious 6,” “Jupiter Ascending,” and “Starred Up.”
He is repped by CAA, Independent Talent Group, Strand Entertainment and Goodman Genow.
Season 25 of “Law and Order” premieres on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock. The series is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Rick Eid, Alex Hall and Peter Jankowski. It is produced by Universal Television in association with Wolf Entertainment.
“Law and Order” originally debuted on NBC in 1990 and ran for 20 seasons until 2010. NBC then revived the series in 2022 for a 21st season. The show has spawned multiple spinoffs, including current series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime.”
