The final day of work on an Adams County bridge project is scheduled to take place on Friday, Sept. 26.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the Emmitsburg Road bridge spanning Route 15 at the Business 15/Steinwehr exit near Gettysburg in Freedom Twp., Adams County, will be painted on Friday.
Weather permitting, the painting will be done from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will require alternating left and right lane closures on Route 15.
The lane restrictions will be in place on northbound Route 15 starting around Mile 1 and ending to just past the on-ramp from Emmitsburg Road/Steinwehr Avenue.
The painting, PennDOT said, “completes the repairs on this bridge.”
