DC Hardy Premium Dog Grooming is opening its doors at Cherry Lane Barnett Hill Garden Centre, in Worcester Road, near Clent, Stourbridge, on Saturday September 27.
The new business features a hydro bath which gives pooches a gentle pressurised warm water massage that cleanses and soothes, with cruelty free shampoos and conditioner selected to nourish and enhance each coat and skin type.
Owner Donna Cash said: “I believe every dog deserves more than just a groom – they deserve to be pampered. That’s why we’re creating a calm, elegant space where the dogs are cared for with all the love and respect they deserve.”
She said customers may be forgiven for thinking they are stepping into a beauty salon rather than a dog grooming parlour – thanks to the swanky decor and air conditioning.
Dog owners visiting the garden centre can book their dog in for a pampering in advance, shop at leisure or have a coffee and pick up their pooch at the end of their grooming session.
The doors will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday September 27 and Sunday September 28 for anyone wishing to look around or meet the team.
