Harry Potter star says racy side hustle paid more in 6 months than I’m A Celeb offer

Jessie Cave, best known as Lavender Brown from Harry Potter, has revealed she made more in just six months with her controversial side hustle than she would have earned from appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Despite being considered for I’m A Celebrity three years ago while she was breastfeeding her baby, Jessie says she was never chosen for the final line-up. She later admitted the rejection turned out to be “a blessing”, noting that her Only Fans success, where she creates niche hair content, helped her move into a larger Liverpool home and pay off debts. According to reports, Jessie promotes nonsexual, hair-focused content on the content sharing platform, which she describes as having a “slutty Mormon vibe”. Her account features videos of her long hair, emphasising the sounds of brushing and swishing, as well as other “very sensual” hair-related material for her fans. But money came with costs as Jessie confessed her involvement with the platform led to her exclusion from a Harry Potter fan convention when organisers said her association with the adult platform didn’t suit their “family-friendly” image. She also described the emotional toll of content creation as Jessie told how she has become obsessed with subscriber numbers, which left her “questioning her self-worth” when stats dropped. Despite stating she wouldn’t post fully nude content, she says the pressure of customer messages and expectations has been exhausting. Still, Jessie says she’d be open to I’m A Celebrity if ITV ever came calling again. Jessie revealed: “About three years ago I had a meeting about going on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!… But we needed the money and it could have been a big opportunity. If I’d have got offered it, I would have accepted.” The star first launched her online account in March, hoping to fix up her house after she faced over £8,000 in dangerous electrical issues and hoped to stop money worries holding her back.
