The Italian superbike maker has revealed the new Panigale V4 R, which will arrive in India in early 2026. This bike will be imported directly from Italy as a CBU (completely built unit). Depicted as the “maximum expression of Ducati racing technology,” the Panigale V4 R is designed for those who desire MotoGP-level performance in a bike they can actually own. Engine At the centre of this superbike is a 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine, which is developed directly with Ducati Corse that is the brand’s racing division. It delivers 218 horsepower (208.4 hp in the US version) and with a special racing exhaust, this can hit 235 hp and even 239 hp with Ducati’s racing oil. The Panigale V4 R can top 330 km/h speed. Racing TechDucati has loaded this motorbike with features that are never seen before on a road-approved motorcycle. For the first time, it gets MotoGP-style Corner Sidepods that create extra grip while cornering, and let the riders take tighter lines at higher speeds. There is also the Ducati Racing Gearbox (DRG), which places neutral below first gear, similar to MotoGP and Superbike race bikes. At 300 km/h, these wings generate about 6 kg of extra pressure, making the bike more stable and precise even while tough accelerating. Track-Ready Frame and SuspensionThis superbeast inherits Ducati’s latest Front Frame and Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm, both designed to give maximum grip on slick racing tyres, adding to it is Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes, and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres, and this bike is clearly built for those who want race performance in every ride. Advanced ElectronicsThe Panigale V4 R features advanced electronic package with tools like Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Slide Control, and Launch Control. It also has a 6.9-inch full-TFT display with a “Grip Meter” that shows the tyre grip available in real time. This bike continues Ducati’s legacy that started with the 996R in 2001. Like its predecessors, the new V4 R will be made in a numbered series, with each bike carrying its own serial number.
