Evan Ferguson set to make Roma Europa League debut against French side Nice

With only one assist to his name four games into the Serie A, Evan Ferguson is goal hungry, and what better way to open his scoring account in a European tournament. All four of Roma’s league games have ended 1-0, three of those going in their favour, before Torino’s smash-and-grab. Nice sit 12th in Ligue 1 with three losses from five games. Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini spoke to Romapress yesterday about the starting lineups. “Dovbyk or Ferguson can start tomorrow,” he said. “They both looked very good in the last training session. They’re alternatives.” Gasperini has been impressed by Ferguson , who seems to favour the youthful Ferguson over the experienced Dovbyk. Ferguson has started all of Roma’s league games so far, except for the Torino loss. Kickoff is at 8 and will be shown on TNT Sports 3. Roma are favourites, with 6/5 odds, whilst Nice hold 11/5 odds. The draw is 12/5. Also in Europa League action tonight are Aston Villa who host Bologna while Rangers face Genk at Ibrox. Celtic are in Serbia to play Crvena Zvezda and Nottingham Forest travel to Spain for a European outing with Real Betis.
