A major racket involving fake Unique Disability ID (UDID) cards has been exposed in Karnataka, where medical aspirants submitted fraudulent documents to obtain the UDID card and secure MBBS seats under the disability quota.The scam operated across districts, including Koppal, Hosapete, and Bengaluru, and has now led to multiple arrests of doctors and officials. The first arrest was an ophthalmologist from the Mangaluru Village Primary Health Centre in Koppal.
