BBC Studios has set the bigscreen Italian premiere of “Bluey at the Cinema: Let’s Play Chef Collection” at the Rome Film Festival’s independent sidebar Alice nella Città which is dedicated to younger audiences on Oct. 18.
“Bluey at the Cinema: Let’s Play Chef Collection” is a special compilation of eight episodes – including Takeaway, Fancy Restaurant, Omelette and Duck Cake — from the hit Australian animated children’s series “Bluey.”
The one-hour compilation will go on to have a nationwide theatrical release in Italy starting on Oct. 30. before hitting theaters in Germany, France and Benelux. It previously launched in the U.K., Ireland, Spain and Poland.
Created by Joe Brumm, “Bluey” is produced by Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios Kids & Family which is distributing the hit TV series internationally. The collection also hails from the partnership between Piece of Magic Entertainment and Vue Lumière.
