The Gruber Wagon Works will be open to the public throughout the day with stationed guides throughout the museum. The Belt running will begin at 11 a.m. and run through 4 p.m. Demonstrations of the Otto “Hit and Miss” Engine will take place at 11:30, 1 and 2:30. • Daniel Boone Dash 5K/10K, Daniel Boone Homestead, 400 Daniel Boone Road, Exeter Township, 9 a.m. Runners (and walkers) can experience the site’s rich history on foot as they run through the historic grounds. The course includes gravel and paved surfaces but is primarily run on pavement. It will weave through the historic area and by the Boone House with minimal vehicle traffic. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Visitor Center. The race starts and finishes at the Visitor Center and will begin at 9. Entry for both events: $30 if entered by Sept. 1 includes shirt.
