Logitech is announcing all kinds of new gaming peripherals at its G Play event, and some of the most exciting ones include what could be one of the best gaming mice and keyboards. The standout is the new Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike, featuring an 8kHz report rate and what the company calls Superstrike technology.

The company also announced a new compact mouse and a high-end gaming keyboard that should have everyone from professional eSports players to those who just want to play some competitive games with their friends.
Why the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is a big deal
Logitech perhaps goes a little overboard in its description of the mouse, but it does really emphasize how significant a breakthrough its Superstrike tech is in an area that doesn’t get a ton of new innovations. The company says the new mouse uses “inductive analogue sensing with real-time click haptics, a technology so unique and transformational, it reshapes how the world’s most demanding players compete.”

At first, you see haptics and think you’re getting a vibrating mouse but that’s not what’s actually happening. Instead, the technology improves click latency by decreasing the travel distance required to send the click signal, which can mean getting the shot off a couple of milliseconds sooner. Think triggers stops on one of the best PC game controllers.

One eSports competitor named Caps, a mid-lane League of Legends player, said the extra speed felt like the difference between playing on LAN versus the internet.
Logitech included 10 selectable actuation steps, allowing players to adjust the click speed to suit their needs.
Other notable features of the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike include:

All that new tech isn’t coming out right away, as Logitech says it’ll ship in early 2026. The mouse isn’t cheap either, coming in at $179.99. We’ll need to get our hands on it to see how it performs, but Logitech certainly made it sound exciting.

While the super-advanced mouse led the charge, Logitech also announced a new light mouse for people who prefer smaller devices and a G515 Rapid keyboard with a TKL design that’ll save space.
The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2c is launching in October with a 95-hour battery life and a $159.99 price tag. The G515 Rapid keyboard offers magnetic analog switches that deliver quick 2.5 mm travel and is priced at $169.99. It is launching soon, so you’ll be able to snag it from Logitechg.com.
