President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahohoo Yaw Gyebi II, has commiserated with the Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Asanteman on the loss of their Queen, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

Ogyeahohoo, who is also the Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, led the House to sympathise on the third day of the burial rites.

There were also present the Presidents of the various Regional Houses of Chiefs.

Other attendees for the day included Deputy Eswatini Prime Minister Senator Thulisile Dladla, Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area Torgbui Amenya Fiti V and Ashanti Regional Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene.

The carefully planned burial rites, which started on September 15 with a series of activities, will come to an end on September 18.

Her Majesty will be buried on the last day at Breman Baamu.

Filing past is reserved to take place sequentially among dignitaries and the general public from September 15 to 18, between 5 am and 5 pm, except for the last day, when it will end at 11 am to make way for a burial service at 3 pm.

A key point to note is the institution of the restriction on outdoor movement effective 7 pm on September 18 to make way for the burial of Her Majesty.
