Now further reports suggest that the actor will resume filming after a week, on Monday. The actor was briefly hospitalised and diagnosed with a concussion following a stunt mishap. Tom Holland to resume filming after one week As per news portal Deadline, Sony/ Marvel Studios movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day has halted Tom Holland’s shoot for one week following his hospitalisation due to concussion from a stunt mishap. The actor will now resume on September 29, Monday. But this delay will not affect the film’s much-anticipated worldwide release on July 31, 2026. Apart from this, the actor is all set to stay in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. The film stars Zendaya, Elliot Page, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth, and Matt Damon and is set to release in theaters on July 17, 2026. About The Odyssey, he said, “It was exciting. It was different. And I think the movie is going to be unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Working with Chris and getting to know him and Emma [Thomas] was absolutely fantastic.
