The company launched its first state-of-the-art, self-storage centre in January this year and user occupation has already hit 60 per cent.
Ian Houghton, managing director of Wolverhampton-based Westbeech Group, said: “This will increase our capacity by 50 per cent to 24,000 sq ft and we are scaling up due to increasing customer demand.”
Nest Self-Storage units are available 24×7 across 365 days of the year.
Sizes available range from a 10 sq ft locker to a 200 sq ft storage unit, the size of a standard double garage and capable of housing the contents of a four bedroom family home.
Entry and storage can be fully online and automated via a dedicated app that allows clients renting the units to come and go as they please. The site has 24-hour CCTV monitoring and security.
The units are suitable for personal, business and student storage, short or long term.
Westbeech Group works with operating partner Engage, a Birmingham-based business which runs and manages 22 similar units for 15 different brands across the UK.
Mr Houghton said they were keen to talk to site owners across the Midlands and North West with suitable sites for sale.
“We are very keen to expand Nest Self-Storage, and we are able to unlock innovative ways of using established space,” he said.
