Ex-DUP leader and current MP to be witnesses in 12-week Nama trial, jury told as it is sworn in

Peter Robinson and Sammy Wilson will be among a host of high-profile witnesses called in a major corruption trial involving the sale of Nama’s Northern Ireland loans, a jury was told this morning.

Mr Robinson, the former First Minister, and Mr Wilson, the current MP for East Antrim, are among several DUP figures who the Crown intends to call to testify in the trial of two prominent Belfast business figures on corruption charges linked to the 2014 transaction for more than a billion pounds.
