CJ ENM's 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' Tops Netflix Global Chart

CJ ENM‘s time-slip romantic comedy “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” has cooked up a recipe for success, claiming the top spot in Netflix‘s Global Top 10 Non-English Shows category for two consecutive weeks.
The Studio Dragon production stars Lim Yoon-a as Yeon Ji-young, a perfectionist French chef who finds herself serving as royal cook to Yeonhuigun, described as the worst tyrant and most demanding gourmet. The series follows Ji-young’s daily survival through the art of culinary excellence.
Since its debut, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” has shown steady momentum on the streaming platform. The series initially landed at No. 4 in Netflix’s global non-English rankings following its premiere, then climbed to second place during its second and third weeks. The show’s ascent to the top spot during weeks four and five represents a milestone achievement for the Korean entertainment giant.
The international success is mirrored by strong local performance. The series’ 10th episode delivered an average household viewership of 15.9% with a peak of 17.6%, claiming the top spot among same-time-slot dramas and setting a new personal best.
“We are happy to witness the record-breaking achievements of ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,’ especially on a global scale,” said Hyoju Jeon, head of global marketing at CJ ENM. “We hope ‘Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’ continues to highlight the power and essence of well-made K-dramas that can bring happiness and joy among international fans.”
The final two episodes of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” are set to air this weekend on tvN in Korea, with global audiences able to stream on Netflix.
