You don’t have to tell us twice that Ireland has some top-class hotels and it appears Kim Kardashian agrees!

The celeb honeymooned in Ireland after saying I Do to her ex-husband Kanye West in 2014, so she has fond memories of our shores.

In a recent Q&A, Kim shared the top three hotels she’s ever stayed in – and her Irish vacation made the cut.

Kim told travel content creator First Class Jerk that she ‘loves’ Ballyfin in Co Laois and it’s not hard to see why.

Ballyfin Demesne is a luxury hotel with only 21 rooms that has three Michelin stars and acres of grounds to enjoy… no wonder Kim loved it so much.

Kim isn’t the only celeb who has a soft spot for Ballyfin, with several big names having visited over the years, including several members of the Irish rugby team.

Ballyfin’s website describes itself as a place guests can expect the highest standards of hospitality, writing that ‘behind the neoclassical façade lies a world of quiet refinement, warm hospitality, and indulgent comfort—where guests are invited to step back into a slower, more gracious age.’

As well as its views and quality rooms, Ballyfin is known for being discreet, making it a perfect spot for A-Listers to enjoy a holiday away from the eyes of the world.

As for her other favourite hotels, Kim said there’s ‘nothing like an Aman [group hotel]’ and ‘especially in Tokyo’ as well as Villa San Michele [a Belmond Hotel] in Florence. She clearly has very good taste.
