What happens when the love of coffee and a fun novelty kitchen brand join forces? Meet the Ninja Luxe Café Premier coffee machine.
The Ninja Luxe Café Premier launched last year in global markets as the first-ever espresso machine created by the kitchen appliance maker. Much like other Ninja products (i.e. the Ninja Swirl), the Luxe Café was an instant hit, selling out quicker than you can chug a fresh cup o’ joe.
Loved by both Ninja fans and professional reviewers, the viral machine has finally made its way Down Under — a.k.a the land of the coffee snobs. Launching today (September 23) at Ninja Kitchen direct, the espresso machine has a listed price of AU$999 and comes in four knockout colourways: Stainless Steel, Midnight Black, Cyberspace and Gunmetal.

You’ll likely need to act fast to nab one, though, as we expect these espresso makers will fly off shelves.
Save 11%Ninja Luxe Café Premier: was AU$999 now AU$889.10 at Ninja Australia
Destined to sell out quickly (judging by its overseas popularity), the Ninja Luxe Café Premier is now available directly from Ninja Kitchen Australia. This 3-in-1 coffee machine brews quality espresso, drip coffee, and fast cold brew using its Barista Assist technology, an integrated grinder, and weight-based dosing. Plus, it makes creating pro-level microfoam easy, thanks to its Dual Froth system.
If you want to save some coins on the new Luxe Café Premier, you can sign up for the Ninja newsletter and receive a 10% off coupon, bringing it down to just AU$899.10. All you need to do is enter your email when the pop-up appears on the Ninja website.
In our review, we gave the machine an impressive 4.5 stars and found it very intuitive and beginner-friendly. The Luxe Café Premier is designed to take the guesswork out of making espresso and espresso-based drinks, and its Barista Assist Technology offers grind size recommendations, automated brew adjustments, and more. It’s also more versatile than many other espresso machines, brewing both hot and cold beverages, including lattes, cold brew and even drip coffee.
The machine comes with two sizes of filter baskets, either a double shot or a quad shot, so it’s great for making multiple espresso coffees at once. Do note, though, this machine doesn’t come with a single-shot filter, but most espresso drinks contain at least a double shot anyway.
Our reviewer found Ninja had “created a unique frothing system that’s truly foolproof to use”, as it delivered the perfect texture without manual handling required. It also has a built-in whisk, meaning it can texturise cold milk and make cold foam, so you can make delicious iced lattes all summer long.

Other smart features include its weight-based dosing, which means you’ll always grind the right amount of coffee beans. Plus, the assisted grinder settings suggest adjustments to your grind size based on the speed of your espresso extraction. In other words, this coffee maker should prevent you from ever having to drink a bad brew.
Fingers crossed this isn’t Ninja’s only foray into the Aussie coffee sphere — the brand also released the Luxe Café Pro in the US and UK earlier this year. But even in our Ninja Luxe Café Premier vs Ninja Luxe Café Pro face-off, the Luxe Café Premier delivered excellent brew results and value for money over its superior, and that’s enough of a selling point for me.
