Mya Smith Joins Bermuda Motors Team
Bermuda Motors Ltd. is welcoming Mya Smith to its Parts Department as a Vehicle Dismantler and Parts Department Assistant.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Motors Ltd. is proud to welcome Mya Smith, who joined our team in July 2025 in our Parts Department as a Vehicle Dismantler & Parts Department Assistant. A graduate of CedarBridge Academy, Mya has already begun making her mark in the automotive industry with her strong work ethic, determination, and passion for mechanics.

“During her time at Cedarbridge, Mya was part of an exciting project where she and her peers built a car that was entered in the Bermuda Day Parade and later competed in the Bermuda Charge. This hands on experience ignited her drive to pursue a future in mechanics, and her ultimate dream is to one day own her own garage where she will not only carry out repairs but also specialize in modifications.
“Since joining Bermuda Motors, Mya has impressed colleagues with her willingness to roll up her sleeves and tackle any task. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and consistently demonstrates a genuine eagerness to learn. Her enthusiasm for the trade and dedication to developing her skills reflect the great potential she holds within the industry.”
Ms. Smith said, “I am really enjoying my time at Bermuda Motors so far, and I’ve been able to gain valuable knowledge and experience. I’ve applied to two technical institutes in Florida to continue my educational journey in the automotive industry, and I’m currently waiting to hear back. I’m hopeful for an acceptance so I can receive the training I need to keep pursuing this path.”
The spokesperson said, “Bermuda Motors is pleased to announce that we are now active in the second hand parts market, and since Mya joined us as our Vehicle Dismantler, she has played a key role in building our inventory. Every car she dismantles is carefully processed, with parts catalogued and added to our expanding selection of quality second hand parts available for sale.”
