Doha, September 11 (QNA) – HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, met with HE Minister of International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Sweden Benjamin Dousa, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the country.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, as well as promising opportunities in sectors of common interest.
Global economic developments and the importance of strengthening partnerships between the two countries’ public and private sectors, were also discussed.
The two sides also explored prospects for partnership between the two countries in a number of priority sectors, particularly in the fields of technology, industry, and sustainability.
This is in line with the State of Qatar’s approach to diversifying the economy and promoting sustainable development, and contributes to achieving the aspirations of both sides towards more comprehensive and effective economic cooperation.
The two sides emphasized the importance of exchanging visits between official and economic delegations, which contributes to opening new horizons for joint cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations to achieve the mutual interests. (QNA)
