Charlie Kirk, the founder of the conservative youth organisation Turning Point USA, was shot dead last week while on tour in Orem, Utah.
Turning Point USA claims over 54,000 students have requested to join or start chapters since Kirk’s death.
The group said that Kirk’s vision is “alive and stronger than ever” and that “this is just the beginning.”
Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, has vowed to continue her husband’s legacy and expand Turning Point USA, with its next tour stop now designated as a vigil.
Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with aggravated murder and other offences in connection with Kirk’s killing, with prosecutors seeking the death penalty.
