'I've visited over 30 countries and the UK is home to best city in the world'

When you reside somewhere permanently, you might not value it as much as you ought to. In Britain, we boast countless stunning locations that we get to savour daily. From the beautiful countryside dotted with charming cottages, magnificent historic structures, contemporary metropolises brimming with possibilities, and the finest pubs on Earth, there’s plenty to cherish. While we frequently yearn to travel overseas to discover different destinations, international visitors adore taking breaks in Britain. One American chap maintains that he considers a particular English metropolis the “finest on Earth”. The 35-year-old business owner claims he has travelled to more than 30 nations over the last 7 years, including stops at major centres such as Tokyo, Paris, New York , Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Berlin, yet he reckons London surpasses them all. “London is by far the best city of them all,” he revealed in a recent TikTok clip whilst strolling through the capital. Outlining his reasoning on his account @thesuferpreneur, he explained: “It’s everything about it – the diversity and culture, the diversity in food – amazing food, diverse people, diversity in wealth. You have the poshest things, the grittiest things. “It’s such a lovely city, it’s what a city should be.” The London enthusiast, who has been touring Europe recently, expressed his fascination with the capital’s parks. He said: “It has the best public parks I’ve ever seen in any city worldwide – Victoria Park, Hyde Park, beautiful places and cosy little parks in between, a lot of lovely cafes. “If you’ve never come, come visit,” he urged. He also praised the transport options; as an American, he finds it remarkable that one can board a train or plane to reach other parts of Europe within hours. “It’s so amazing, so accessible… best city in the world . “If you have money, it’s definitely the best city,” one person commented. “London is definitely better than Paris and New York,” another added. “I’d give anything to work in London,” a third wrote. Another observer noted: “I always hear outsiders big up the green spaces in London which I took for granted until I researched other mega cities and their lack.” One person insisted it surpasses New York City, adding: “Big agree. London is the best city. So much better than New York, in my opinion.” Another who was quick to concur, said: “After going to NYC which is considered to be the best city in the world I had a slight feeling of disappointment, because even though it’s a cool city and nowhere like it, London just does most things better and having grown up here and taken it for granted, NYC made me realise just how amazing London is.” One individual highlighted: “London is HUGE. You can experience village vibes here, go to farms and massive parks, suburbs, inner city, central etc I don’t think you can say that in Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York or LA.” What are your thoughts?
