A new games cafe is set to open at the Utilita Arena Birmingham , replacing piano bar Mooncat. On its website, the bar says it is ‘coming soon’. It adds that the first 100 people through the door can claim ‘golden tickets’ for £25, which it says are worth £250. It says the golden tickets will give players unlimited play for a year, the opportunity to bring a friend for free on every visit, 15% off food and drinks, 5% discount on games and collectables and priority access to events. Back in June this year, it was announced that neighbouring restaurant Ed’s Easy Diner was closing after 10 years. Its replacement was revealed almost instantly, with Slim Chickens opening a month later on the ‘boardwalk’ of the arena. We’ll bring you more on Game Guru as we get it.
