A businessman named Marwan Usman was seriously injured after being attacked by suspected phone thieves in Katsina State.
The attack happened on Sunday night, September 21, near his workplace along IBB Road, close to Kaura Gate and the MTN office.
Marwan said he was refilling his generator to keep his business running when the attackers approached him. They demanded his phone, but he refused to give it to them.
In response, the men attacked him with machetes, leaving him with several deep cuts. They fled the scene without managing to steal the phone.
