    Tshwane urges patience as power outage affects Pretoria CBD

    The City of Tshwane has urged residents in the Pretoria Central Business District (CBD) and surrounding areas to be patient as they continue to be without electricity.

    This is a result of theft and vandalism of the key components along Struben Street.

    The city’s spokesperson Londela Mashigo says their teams are working around the clock to restore power.

    “While the exact estimated time of restoration remains unconfirmed, the city assures residents and businesses that updated will be shared as and when there are developments. The city recognises the inconvenience caused by this irregular and prolonged outages and sincerely appeals for patients and understanding,” says Mashigo.
