Norway signs $4M deal for military dog gear

The Norwegian Armed Forces has signed a $4 million, four-year contract with Non-stop dogwear to supply specialized equipment for its military working dogs and handlers. The agreement will be executed through the company’s Non-stop professional division, which focuses on solutions for military, law enforcement, search and rescue, and other working professionals. According to a company statement, the contract will provide the Norwegian Armed Forces’ K-9 division with dog harnesses, leashes, booties, cages, veterinary tools, and mission-ready training gear. The equipment is designed to support K-9 teams operating in challenging environments and under high operational stress. “This marks the first time Non-stop dogwear has independently won a major government tender,” the company said in a release. The deal signals growing confidence in the company’s ability to meet defense-sector needs. Non-stop professional’s gear is engineered to withstand intense operational demands. The equipment is subjected to rigorous materials and force testing to ensure it performs reliably under field conditions. The gear is designed to handle the strength and activity level of high-drive working dogs. “Testing our gear in the toughest conditions means we can deliver equipment that handlers and dogs can rely on, whether in military operations or everyday service,” said Kristoffer Grøtan Olsen, Founder of Non-stop dogwear and CEO of Non-stop professional. “With the four-year contract starting next month, we look forward to supporting the Norwegian Armed Forces while continuing to develop equipment that benefits dogs all over the world.” The company has supplied dog-handling equipment to military and law enforcement units across Europe and Asia, as well as to search and rescue teams in Scandinavia. This latest deal with the Norwegian Armed Forces adds to its growing portfolio of government partnerships. The contract, which goes into effect next month, is expected to support operational readiness and reduce the burden on K-9 teams working across Norway and deployed abroad.
