Georgia, 23, thought she was going on a Tinder hook-up. Instead she was robbed, dumped and abandoned - but her evil 'date' still had one VILE final humiliation for her

A young Perth woman has revealed how her ruthless Tinder date conned her into meeting up before he robbed her and dumped her sobbing by the side of the road.

And while Georgia, 23, was still recovering from that ordeal, her 28-year-old hook-up delivered a final humiliation by sharing footage of the entire incident on a group chat.

‘I was technically robbed by someone I thought I was meant to be going on a date with,’ she told the Daily Mail.

‘I blame myself. I shouldn’t have got into a car with a stranger – but also, he was psychotic.’

Georgia has spoken out to the Daily Mail in a bid to warn others to be ultra-vigilant when going on dating app hook-ups after she was left stranded in the dark.

The nightmare began when the pair matched on the popular dating app and arranged to go for a drink at Gage Roads Brewery in Fremantle on Friday.

She claims he repeatedly told her to ‘wear something pretty’ and even called her on the way, reminding her to dress up for the occasion.

‘I wore a dress and when he got here, he said, “Hey pretty,” gave me a hug, and told me I looked really good,’ she recalled.

The two drove off together but it quickly became clear that something was off.

‘He was on his phone, messaging his friends that, “This girl’s not going to kidnap me,” so I laughed it off and said my friends had my location too,’ she explained.

Minutes later, the man pulled his car over, claiming there was a problem with the lights, and asked her to step out and check.

‘I feel so stupid for this. I went to check the lights, and as I was walking back to the car he drove off,’ she said.

‘I was stranded. I thought I had no keys, no phone, none of my stuff.

‘Luckily he had the tiniest bit of human decency, and threw my phone and keys out of the car but he kept everything else.’

Georgia said the incident was humiliating and frightening.

‘I got robbed,’ she added. ‘It could have been way worse, I could have had way more on me. Luckily I didn’t, but it was still terrifying.’

After sharing her story on TikTok, multiple other women have come forward claiming they too had received Tinder messages from the same man.

One woman even claimed she was on a date with the same man before he collected Georgia and a second said she had one planned for 8.30pm the same night.

‘I think his main goal is to rob women,’ she warned. ‘Girls of Perth, please stay safe out there. Learn from my mistakes. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did.’

The video soon attracted supportive comments from horrified women who believe she had a lucky escape.

‘This is sooooo cruel!!! No one deserves this. I’m so sorry! I hope you are feeling okay and safe and know that you are so much more worthy than how you were treated!’ wrote one.

‘I’m sorry this happened to you, friend. Don’t feel ridiculous. You thought you were safe and you were manipulated into thinking that,’ added another.

She has also suffered further indignity after she was targeted online by trolls who claim her date fled after seeing Georgia in the flesh.

‘Please don’t take offence but sounds to me he changed his mind when he seen all your tatts and was too weak to say so,’ speculated one, adding that he had the ‘decency’ to give her keys and phone back.

‘He changed his mind and didn’t realise your stuff was in the car,’ agreed another.

‘You are not robbed, he just don’t like you and he doesn’t know how to say it,’ wrote a third.

But she told the Daily Mail: ‘That’s not what happened.

‘He did not do this to me because of the way I look.’

Georgia also revealed the ‘date’ had since seen her TikTok posts and begged her to take down the videos in return for an apology and the return of her belongings.

But she says that after finding out he had filmed his ‘prank,’ and posted it to a group chat to mock her, she doesn’t believe he is sorry.

‘The man who has been begging me to take the videos down, filmed me when he left me on the side of the road and took my things,’ she said.

‘He was laughing in the video – yet now he’s said he has no malicious intent?
