Saharanpur is set for a big boost in rail connectivity with the upcoming launch of the Vande Bharat Express between Lucknow Junction and Saharanpur. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) saying the new train will cut travel time and offer modern facilities to make journeys more comfortable. He called it a historic step for passengers in Uttar Pradesh. He highlighted that this train will reduce travel time and provide modern facilities for the passengers.
The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express was officially announced on September 22 2025. The exact route of the train will be shared soon.
