Trump did the same during his first state visit in 2019, when he walked in front of Queen Elizabeth II. However, the palace said in 2019 that Trump’s walking ahead of the Queen was not a breach of protocol. Even if Trump once more put himself center-stage while inspecting the honor guard, he and Charles still seemed in a jovial mood, with the two seeming to share a joke as they walked through the quad of Windsor Castle. n18oc_world n18oc_crux
