A beloved Gogglebox star has received widespread praise from her devoted fans following her incredible transformation. Amy Tapper first graced the Channel 4 show during its debut series back in 2013, appearing alongside her relatives: dad Jonathan, mum Nikki and older sibling Josh. The Tapper clan swiftly won over audiences with their sharp wit, routinely delighting viewers through their amusing observations. Nevertheless, the family stepped away from the show not long after Josh departed Gogglebox in 2017 to embark on a political career. Amy then made her own exit in 2018 to take part in the popular dating programme Celebs Go Dating, reports the Mirror . Since leaving Gogglebox behind, Amy has undertaken an extraordinary weight loss transformation, frequently sharing updates with her followers on social media. The TV star has managed to lose a stunning seven stone, dropping from a size 26 to 18 in just two months. This week, Amy shared a picture of herself during a night out on her Instagram profile. Looking considerably slimmer, Amy donned a lace top and dark trousers. Her caption simply stated: “Thank god I got the Bathroom memo.” Fans immediately rushed to the comments section with compliments. One admirer penned: “Looking so well.” Another remarked: “Wow Amy you look amazing.” A third supporter declared: “You look brilliant, well done to you.” This comes after Amy’s disclosure about her weight loss strategy. In a chat with The Sun, she revealed that she sought help from Mounjaro, stating she “felt there was nothing else I could do”. Amy shared: “I’m fitting into size 18 clothes for the first time since I was 15 or 16 – it’s hard for me to believe. It’s changed my life. I went to the theatre the other night and when I sat down, my thighs weren’t touching the person next to me, or the sides of the chairs. I had room.” However, Amy highlighted: “I get annoyed though that some people call it the ‘lazy way out’. I don’t want people to think that I’ve sat around for the last 17 years of my life not trying to lose weight. “I want people to know that this has been my only option to get this far.”
