Alfred (Al) L Lafountain III OBITUARY
Alfred “Al” L. Lafountain III, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on September 14, 2025, with his loving wife, Corinne Lafountain, by his side. Al was a true treasure to this world, leaving no heart untouched by those fortunate enough to know him.
Born and raised in East Hartford, CT, Al relocated to Jacksonville in 2021 with his wife to begin a new chapter of life together. He was an avid bowler, a proud and devoted fan of both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Boston Red Sox, and a dedicated employee who found joy in his work at Waste Management.
Al leaves behind his beloved wife, Corinne Lafountain; his children, Amber M. Sardo, Al L. Lafountain IV, and Gabrielle Lafountain; and his stepchildren, Rick Daigle and Courtney Russell. He was the cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Charlie Lafountain, Francis Lafountain, Mark Lafountain, and Karen Williams.
He is predeceased by his parents, Al Lafountain Jr and Charlotte Toole, as well as his stepson, Jason Daigle Sr.
Al will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his vibrant sense of humor, his passion for sports, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
