Three Days After Russian Wife’s Harassment In Amritsar, UK Man Hails India; ‘Ignore Anti-India Agenda’

Just a few days ago, most of India was left embarrassed- yet again- after a video of a UK man confronting an Indian for allegedly harassing his Russian wife was shared online. The incident unfolded in Punjab’s Amritsar- where the man was allegedly asking for the foreign woman’s phone number. As per the video, as soon as the man pulled his camera out, the Indian man suddenly forgot how to speak English and began apologising. The matter was quick to go viral, leaving many triggered and raising questions about India’s women’s safety status. The matter was hardly out of the headlines- when the same UK man shared another clip on social media- but this time, it was about hailing the country. Yes, despite the sour experience, the man seemingly chose to focus more on the ‘good side’, as he advised other foreigners not to fall for the ‘anti-India agenda’ on the internet. The UK man further encouraged people to visit India and then form an image or reputation. Both videos had a stark difference in the narrative- yet, the man chose to preach the positive. Netizens, on the other hand, expressed their gratitude towards the man for giving India a chance, while some suggested more places to visit in the country. Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Alex Wanders’.
