LIONS – RAVENS Matchup Preview
With fiery head coach Dan Campbell at the helm, the Lions (1-1) put their foot on the gas against Ben Johnson’s Chicago Bears, throttling the division rival, 52-21, on Sept. 14.
Jared Goff, who finished fifth in MVP voting last season, leads the NFL in completion percentage and is tied for first with six passing touchdowns. His 82.1 QBR is the third-highest in the league.
Receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was lethal in the decimation of the Bears. He compiled nine receptions for 115 yards and three touchdowns.
Jameson Williams has six receptions for 131 yards and one touchdown, averaging 21.8 yards per reception.
The Sonic and Knuckles combo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery has underwhelmed in the first two games. Gibbs has 21 carries for 113 yards and one touchdown. Montgomery has 22 carries for 82 yards and one touchdown.
Linebacker Jack Campbell has nine solo tackles, while defensive end Aidan Hutchinson has been held to one sack.

The Ravens (1-1) snapped the Browns elite defense with a 41-17 victory on Sept. 14. Cleveland is considered to have arguably the best defense in the league, making the offensive output even more impressive.

His top target, Zay Flowers, has 14 receptions for 218 yards and one touchdown, averaging 15.6 yards per reception. Veteran receiver DeAndre Hopkins has made the most of his opportunities with four receptions for 99 yards and two touchdowns. He averages the fourth-highest yards per reception (24.8) in the NFL.
Bruising running back Derrick Henry was stuffed against the Browns, but has a much more favorable matchup against Detroit’s new-look defense. Henry has 29 carries for 192 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 6.6 yards per carry.
The Ravens’ secondary proved vulnerable against the Bills (395 yards) and is allowing 295 passing yards per game, which is the second-worst mark in the NFL. All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith has 16 solo tackles, while cornerback Nate Wiggins has seven solo tackles, three pass deflections and one interception.
