Las Vegas Strip casino lands multiple shows with huge country star

Las Vegas used to be known for two things: gambling and buffets. But that has changed in recent years.
Today, people come to Las Vegas for conventions like the mega Consumer Electronics Show and to see their favorite professional sports team — the city is now home to an NFL team, an NHL team, a WNBA team, and soon an MLB team.
Formula 1 racing made a huge splash at its 2023 debut, and the 2025 race is just around the corner, at the end of November.
And even though Las Vegas has been experiencing a downturn, with visitor numbers down steeply so far into 2025 — 7% according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority — there are still dozens of big-name events on the calendar for the rest of this year and early next year.
Among the biggest draws in Las Vegas over the last couple of decades: music residencies.
Residencies have become a dominant form of entertainment, and even when bands or musicians don’t commit to a formal residency, i.e., at least four shows in a row, many do commit to more than one night in Las Vegas when they’re on tour.
That is the case with one country music superstar who just announced he’ll play two consecutive nights at Dolby Live in Las Vegas.
Chris Stapleton concert tour stops at Dolby Live
Grammy Award winner Chris Stapleton will play two nights at Dolby Live in the Park MGM in Las Vegas, February 4-5, 2026.
Stapleton’s “All American Road Show” was supposed to kick off on June 4, 2025, in Greenville, S.C., but some critical pieces of gear were damaged en route to the venue so the kick-off show was moved to Charlotteville; Stapleton has been on the road pretty much ever since.
He has now extended the concert tour to include the shows in Las Vegas in 2026.
Country music residencies in 2025 and 2026
While country musicians don’t dominate the Las Vegas residency scene, there are always a couple on the calendar.
