Married At First Sight UK viewers were left horrified by groom Dean’s ‘cringe-worthy’ rap to new wife Sarah at the altar during Sunday’s show.
The Channel 4 experiment, which sees hopefuls tie the knot with strangers after being paired by experts, saw its first coupling getting off to a rocky start as the new series kicked off with a bumper 110-minute episode.
Sarah, who was already disappointed by her ‘hopeless romantic’ match, claiming she preferred bad boys covered in tattoos, was left cringing along with viewers after the impromptu performance.
Dean sang: ‘When I saw you in that dress today, you did more than take my breath away. All my fears alleviate, I know we’re gonna be okay. I know we’ll have hard times it’s true, but I’ll never ever give up on you’.
‘You and me, plain to see, to the end of time, hopefully. Everybody sing with me. When I say wed, you say D.’
Following the awkward rap, fans rushed to X and while some begged him to stop, others said if they were the bride they’d have done a ‘runner’.

‘This is horrendous oh please stop Dean’: ‘ Noo this is sooo cringe from Dean’: ‘No I’m sorry, Dean is really sweet but that rap was too much I would of died:’ ‘I beg his friends/family have told him not to sing/rap while on the honeymoon?!’.
‘Dean may be a lovely guy but I think I would have done a runner at the rap’: ‘Anyone getting Honey G vibes from Dean’s rap?’: ‘Ok what was with the rap’: ‘I mean, Dean’s rap was mad cringe, but at least he was having fun and it made me smile lol’.
Later in the episode Dean would again show off his vocals as he broke into song during the wedding reception.
He said: ‘This is a little song’, before belting out lyrics while looking lovingly towards Sarah in front of friends and family.
‘We will build a life together, for you and me’, the song began.
As the camera panned to the guests, the congregation were seen putting their heads in their hands as they cringed at the lyrics.
Ahead of the series launch, self-professed ‘hopeless romantic’ Dean, 31, proved he was ready to go the distance when it comes to love.

He decided to go on the show to find ‘a soulmate’ who will ‘match his zest for life’.
And ahead of the first episode, an exclusive teaser showed experts Paul C. Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas surprising the 18 contestants on their hen and stag dos.
In the exclusive teaser, relationship expert Paul told the male contestants to prepare to be tested in ways ‘they could never have expected’.
‘It might be one of the toughest experiences of your life.’
‘We’ve worked hard for months, making you meet up with the perfect partner,’ sex therapist Charlene tells the ladies.
The popular dating programme, which sees two people tie the knot just moments after meeting for the first time, first hit our screens in 2015.
In a schedule shake-up, the will now air Sunday to Thursday, breaking from last year’s Monday to Thursday format.
