The OnePlus 15 is right around the corner and the teasers have started, as the device has just shown up at an e-sports event to show off its major redesign.
At the 2025 Peace Elite League (PEL) Summer Finals in China this weekend, a collection of e-sports champs gathered for a photo around a new OnePlus device. While it’s not mentioned by name, the “guess what they’re looking at” question in the Weibo post serves as a not-so-subtle teaser for the OnePlus 15. It’s certainly intentional product placement rather than a leak.
As seen in the image, the OnePlus 15 looks to be getting a major redesign this year, forgoing the rounded camera module that’s been a staple of the brand’s design for the past several generations.
The new camera module is a rounded square with cutouts for the cameras and flash. It looks similar to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and 10 Pro Fold from Google. OnePlus first started using this design on the compact OnePlus 13T, but the camera module on its upcoming flagship is quite a bit larger proportionally.

In another post on Weibo, leaker Digital Chat Station adds that the OnePlus 15 will be using some sort of “ceramic coating” on the frame, and that the entire phone will feature a matte texture. This coating is said to be “four times stronger than titanium,” while the phone itself is thinner than Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max (8.8mm).
The OnePlus 15 is likely to be announced for the Chinese market within the next few weeks, with a global launch likely by the end of this year.
