This past week delivered a number of impressive performances in football and volleyball.

Jayden Miles, Catholic: The junior running back ran for 113 yards on 15 carries. He had two rushing touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass on a trick play in a win against University High.
Laila Robertson, West Feliciana: The senior tallied 54 digs, 10 aces, eight kills and seven assists in six matches last week.
Ben Jones, St. Michael: The senior kicker/punter made one PAT, a 29-yard field goal and had six punts for an average of 48 yards in a narrow 16-14 win against Istrouma.
Madelyn Walter, Ascension Christian: The senior outside hitter won MVP at the Tara Tournament with 49 kills. She also guided them to win the tournament.
