Detroit – Mediterranean fast-casual chain, CAVA is opening its first location in downtown Detroit Friday, Sept 26.
The announcement marks CAVA’s second location in Michigan, after its recent debut in Canton earlier this summer.
“As we grow across the Midwest, we’re excited to welcome Detroit to our table to experience the bold flavors of our high-quality meals and Mediterranean hospitality while living out our mission to bring heart, health, and humanity to food,” said Jeff Gaul, Chief Development Officer of CAVA.
CAVA is known for its Mediterranean food which includes bowls, pits, dips and juices. CAVA recently introduced Chicken Shawarma as its newest protein in restaurants nationwide for a limited time.
CAVA’s new Detroit restaurant will employ 25-40 people.
The Detroit restaurant will be located at 636 Woodward Ave.
