Apple TV+ unveiled the trailer and key art for “The Last Frontier,” a new original drama series with a cast that includes Tulsa’s Alfre Woodard.
“The Last Frontier” follows Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke), the lone U.S. Marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska.
Remnick’s jurisdiction is turned upside down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates. Tasked with protecting the town he’s vowed to keep safe, he begins to suspect the crash wasn’t an accident, but the first step of a well-crafted plan with far-reaching and devastating implications.

Said Remnick to a sent-from-the-outside ally in the trailer: “I’m going to find your guy — and whatever else it is you’re hiding.”
Alongside Clarke, who doubles as executive producer, “The Last Frontier” stars Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessell, “Reservation Dogs” alum Dallas Goldtooth, Tait Blum and Woodard, an Academy Award-nominee and multi-Emmy winner.
Created by Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio, “The Last Frontier” is a 10-episode thriller that will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes Friday, Oct. 10. New episodes will follow every Friday through Dec. 5.
