Fox News quizzed President Donald Trump on topics not typically known about presidents.
During a Q&A on “The Sunday Briefing,” Trump was asked by host Peter Doocy about how much he tips at restaurants, one to-do on his bucket list and a host of other personal questions.
When first asked about how much he tips at a “mediocre“ restaurant, Trump responded: ”I usually tip, because if I don’t, I end up with a lot of publicity that I didn’t tip. But I get good service. They give me good service.”
Trump said he has about $200 when probed about how much money is in his pocket if he were to dine out, adding, “I’m not traveling too heavy.”
While saying that he doesn’t watch a lot of television, he said his favorite shows — outside of news channels — would be “anything have to do with sports.”
“And you like watching football. I watched the Yankees last night. They’re doing very well since I went to the ballpark last week. Very well. I think they’re going to be OK,” Trump said, referencing his visit to the Bronx stadium on the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
“But I love the sports. I love the fact that the Ryder Cup is coming up on Friday. In fact, I’m going out there on Friday,” he added.
If he could only eat one meal for a week, it would be steak. And when asked to name his dream car as a child, Trump said it was a Ferrari.
“I actually had a Ferrari for a while,” Trump said. “Now I buy American. I buy American. I love our American cars.”
Trump went on to say that the United States used to be the “capital of the world for cars” — and went on to say that car manufacturing was “stolen” from other countries.
“They’re coming back. They’re all coming back. The numbers are incredible, so we’re going to be manufacturing a lot of cars,” he continued.
The one goal on his wish list is to “Make America great again.”
“To make America so great like it’s never been before. That is my only thing, that’s what I live for. I want to turn this country around,” Trump said.
