Blinkit deliveries typically arrive on bikes or scooters to navigate through traffic and reach your doorstep within minutes. However, one recent delivery grabbed the Internet’s attention for a completely unexpected reason. Instead of the usual two-wheeler, the delivery agent showed up in a Thar, leaving people scratching their heads.
The video, shared on Instagram, shows the delivery agent stepping out of a black Mahindra Thar. Yes, you read it right! The unusual moment was captured by the customer who ordered from the platform.
Thar Delivery, Really?
The footage shows the delivery agent stepping out of the Thar to hand over the order, a scene far from the typical quick two-wheeler deliveries people are used to. The overlay text on the video read, “Is this for real? Blinkit delivering via THAR.”
“Bhai, ye bhai Thar se Blinkit se delivery karne aaye hai, sach mein bhai dekh rahe ho (Bro, this guy has come to deliver Blinkit in a Thar, you are seeing this for real),” the man in the video can be heard saying.
The Instagram caption by the user who shared the video raised some curious questions. It read, “Blinkit are you paying this much to your delivery boys for real?? Or Mahindra Thar you are offering THAR in very cheap price nowadays??”

‘EMI Due Ho Rahi Hogi,’ Jokes Internet
This Thar delivery didn’t go unnoticed by the social media users, as the video accumulated more than three lakh views so far. They also shared their witty takes in the comments section. Here are some standout remarks:
One user joked, “When you can’t pay EMI,” while another added, “EMI due ho rahi hogi (The EMI must be due).”
Someone else playfully remarked. “Blinkit premium version.”
Other viewers speculated about why the Thar was used, with a person writing, “Some people just do it for timepass or experience. I myself met a scorpion owner delivering me stuff.”
Meanwhile, an individual suggested, “It must be the owner of the said branch (Blinkit franchise program), who had to go near your place/some issue with the rider’s bike, etc.”
When Helicopters Attempted Delivery
If you thought the Thar delivery was over-the-top, think again. Enter the delivery by helicopter. And no, we’re not joking. In March, a video went viral showing a helicopter hovering above a house and lowering packages of goods. Large, secured parcels were carefully lowered from the aircraft and caught by people standing on the building’s rooftop.
