Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is currently basking in the success of his recently released directorial debut series ‘The Ba***ds Of Bollywood’ starring Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol and others. In a recent interview, Raghav Juyal opened up about working with Aryan Khan, and what impressed him the most about the star kid. He said that while he initially assumed Aryan would speak English like most kids from Bandra, he was pleasantly surprised by Aryan’s fluent and natural Hindi. He also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan’s family is deeply rooted in Indian culture, and that Aryan understands the soul of India, which helps him create content that truly resonates with Indian audiences.
While speaking with Screen, Raghav Juyal said, “Mujhe ek cheez bohot achhi lagti hai Aryan (Khan) ki. I had a misconception that Aryan bhi baakiyon ki tarah Bandra mein jo English bolte hain, who bhi waise hi English bolta hoga. Kyunki yaha par zyadatar log English mein hi sochte hain aur baat karte hain. But uske ghar mein uska jo culture hai, usko sikhaya gaya hai, wo Delhi wala hai. Wo bilkul hi normal Hindi bolta hai sabke saath, jab tak English bolne ki zarurat na ho. (There’s one thing I really like about Aryan. I had a misconception that, like most Bandra kids, he must be one of those who only speak in English. Because here, most people think and speak in English. But the culture he’s grown up with at home—that’s very Delhi. He speaks completely normal Hindi with everyone, unless there’s a need to switch to English).”

He further lauded Aryan’s command over Hindi and said, “For him, the language comes very naturally and with command. That’s one of the reasons he’s become such a good director in Hindi cinema.” He said that Shah Rukh Khan also has good command over Hindi and Urdu.
Raghav then recalled the time he visited Aryan at his residence. “Mostly main jab bhi ghar gaya hu uske, raha hu, hum log khaana khaate hain. Jab bhi Gauri ma’am bolti hai ‘Aryan jaldi aao khaana khaa lo.’ Thoda Punjabi mahaul hai waha. Toh wo us hi way mein bolte hain ghar mein. (When I have been to his home, stayed over, we have had meals together. Whenever Gauri ma’am calls out, she says, ‘Aryan, come quickly, food’s ready!’ There’s a bit of a Punjabi vibe at their place. So they talk in that way at home).”
Raghav then said that Shah Rukh Khan and his family are very ‘Indian’ and deeply ‘rooted’. “That’s exactly why Aryan understands the soul of India—he knows he’s making a show for India,” he said.
