Kim Yoo-Jung and Kim Do-Hoon are not dating, the actress’ agency has reacted. The two Dear X co-stars sparked rumours about being in a relationship after their photos from Vietnam surfaced online. They are a part of the upcoming K-drama that recently fell into trouble over its poster plagiarism controversy. Now, with Yoo-Jung and Do-Hoon grabbing attention, it looks like the project has already gained a lot of traction even before release. How did dating rumour begin? Rumours started after a photo circulated on social media showing Do-Hoon with a woman who many presumed to be Yoo-Jung. The woman was wearing a mask and carrying a green bag atop her suitcase, making her identity unclear. Many got reminded that her shorts, a tank top layered with a shirt resembled a social media post Yoo-Jung shared in June. This led to usersbeing sure that it was her. A netizen further claimed to have seen Do-Hoon on a Vietnam Airlines business class flight, adding to the speculation. The photos were reportedly from Nha Trang, leading to a so-called “lovestagram” until it later got clarified that it was a group trip with the show’s team. Agencies react On September 20, Kim Yoo-Jung’s agency awesome.ent revealed, “We checked with Kim You Jung, and the dating rumors with Kim Do Hoon are not true. The trip to Nha Trang in Vietnam was not just the two of them but was a group trip after concluding filming for ‘Dear X.'” The agency continued, “After all the filming ended, Director Lee Eung Bok along with Kim You Jung, Kim Do Hoon, and staff members who were able to attend all went on a trip together, but the photo made it look like just the two of them went. Their dating rumors are not true.” Kim Do-Hoon’s agency PEAK J Entertainment also said in a statement, “The dating rumors between Kim Do Hoon and Kim You Jung are not true. It depicts her hidden cruel nature as she rises by exploiting others, leading to her eventual downfall. The show also stars Kim Young-Dae and Lee Yul-Eum, and is set to premiere on November 6.
