The State’s real estate sector suffered severe setbacks and regressed in growth due to the decisions taken by the previous government, causing hardships to the people, said Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi).
Participating in NAREDCO’s Amaravati Property Festival in Vijayawada on the second day Saturday (September 20), Mr. Radhakrishna said Vijayawada and Amaravati are the epicenters of the State’s future. The ongoing development activities in these regions will not only benefit the local area but also the entire State, he added.
He praised NAREDCO for organising the exhibition, noting that it creates awareness among the public about the scope of development in the region. He further said such events instil confidence among property buyers and contribute to the overall growth of the real estate sector.
Telugu Desam Party corporator N. Balaswamy expressed optimism that the positive measures being taken by the government would revive the real estate sector. He said Amaravati would soon secure a special place in the State’s development, creating opportunities for employment and business for every household in the region.
The three-day property festival will conclude on Sunday. Over the past two days, more than 5,000 visitors have attended the exhibition, showing keen interest in purchasing new properties, according to a press release from NAREDCO.
NAREDCO Central Zone chairman Sandeep Mandava, State organising secretary Kiran Paruchuri and others were present.
