Shocking Video Shows Teacher Getting Foot Massage From Students: ‘Hand Her The Termination Letter’

Parents send their children to school hoping they will learn values that shape them into responsible adults. However, a recent incident at a government school in Bhopal has left many shocked. A video from Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School, Bhopal, shows a female teacher sitting on a chair while a student massages her feet.
She withdrew her foot only after realising she was being recorded. What’s more alarming is that other teachers reportedly said that such behaviour is not unprecedented.
The Instagram video shows several students sitting on the floor due to a shortage of proper benches, while the teacher sits comfortably on a chair. At one point, she rests a foot on another chair as a student massages it. She quickly pulls her leg back upon realising that someone is recording.
Teacher Says She Twisted Her Foot
According to a Times of India report, children in other classes were studying quietly after lunch, but Class 4 students were noisy. This is also the only class where students lack benches and are forced to sit on the floor. Amid this, one student was seen massaging the teacher’s feet. After the clip went viral, the teacher told authorities that her foot had twisted in a pit, and the students were helping her.

Social Media Demands Action Against Teacher
Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Hand her termination letter and stop all retirement benefits, including pension.”
Another shared, “Schools are meant to study, not satisfy the teachers and serve them as a private servant, students pay School Fees to STUDY, NOT to serve some teacher.”
“There are two ways to look at this: if the student does it by himself, it’s fine. But if the teacher makes him do it, then it’s definitely wrong,” a comment read.
An individual stated, “Very bad approach, it’s making teachers’ names bad this way. We are not able to make our own kids do this. How can she ask a student to do this? It’s a really shameful act.”
Another mentioned, “Shame on this lady.”
One more added, “She doesn’t deserve to be a teacher. Abuse of power.”
Education Officer Promises Probe
According to another teacher, the children, who should be learning with books and pens in hand, were engaging in such objectionable behaviour. When the matter reached District Education Officer NK Ahirwar, he confirmed that an investigation is underway. He also mentioned that he was informed the teacher might have been injured and that the students were only helping her. Nevertheless, he assured that a full inquiry will be conducted to determine the truth behind the incident.
